Our Work
Fight4Justice Project seeks to remedy injustices within the criminal justice system through advocacy, education, and legal referral services. Dee Farmer started the fight for justice with the landmark United States Supreme Court case in which she was the plaintiff, Farmer v. Brennan. Inspired by her years of hard and successful legal work while in prison, Ms. Farmer is the founder of Fight4Justice Project, a non-profit advocating for currently or formerly incarcerated people, with a focus on the LGBTQ community. Fight4Justice Project provides direct services, including assisting with obtaining appropriate housing, programs, safety needs, and treatment. Additionally, Fight4Justice Project provides consulting services on issues related to incarceration and helps those who are unjustly imprisoned obtain freedom.
